What the map shows

PMPML runs depots. Only of them stand inside Pimpri-Chinchwad: . Together they carry of PMPML's riders, while Pimpri-Chinchwad held 36% of the two cities' people at the 2011 census (1.73 million of 4.85 million).

The plan expected its heaviest BRT load on the old Mumbai–Pune highway (BRT 2, Old NH-4): trips a day on its busiest section, × the busiest section of any other corridor. The 2008 traffic survey agrees: its busiest point was , with vehicles a day.

The two traffic surveys chose different places, so compare their patterns, not location by location.
